"Ace in the Hole" Definition
|
This is what a player has when one of his cards that are dealt to him face down (the hole cards) is an Ace. This is an Ace that a player is not required to reveal to other players.
For example: "I had an ace in the hole and an ace in the door. I was afraid if I made too large a raise right away my opponents would fold, so I decided to slowplay it."
