"Big Bobtail" Definition
|
Four consecutive cards of the same suit; four cards to a straight flush; an open-ended straight flush draw is called as big bobtail. In non-standard games in which a big bobtail is measured a complete hand, it ranks above a Full House and below Four of a Kind. If the fifth card makes a pair, the hand beats any unpaired bobtail.
For example: "I had a big bobtail and made a flush on the river."
