"Center Pot" Definition
|
Main pot; the pot that all active players have contributed to and that all active players are eligible to win; as opposed to a side pot. Separate showdowns occur for each side pot and for the center pot, and players not eligible to win a particular pot do not participate in the showdown for it.
For example: "The dealer will verify all bets and rake them to the center pot at the conclusion of each round of betting."
