"Top Pair" Definition
|
In community card poker games, top pair is a pair comprising a pocket card and the highest ranking card on the board.
For example: "I had Big Slick in the pocket and the flop came up Ac-Jd-10c. I was drawing for the Ace-high straight, but ended up only making top pair."
